Timeless. Value.

Located less than one mile from downtown Kankakee, along the lazy and picturesque Kankakee River, is the Riverview Historic District. It is filled with custom-built homes, many over 100 years old. They sit neatly on large lots divided by wide streets and boulevards. Old growth oak, maple, and elm trees line streets providing year round pleasure. Architecturally appropriate street lights warmly bath the neighborhood with light. Cobb Park, the crown jewel of the Riverview Historic District, is located the bank of the Kankakee River.

While the homes might be the initial attraction, it is the people of the neighborhood that are its greatest asset. Singles and couples of all ages, new-comers and life-long neighbors, all add something special that makes Riverview a wonderful place to call home. Riverview is people friendly!

Here is the winning design for Riverview's new banners. Gorgeous!

Riverview resident Tracy made a "rubbing" of some Victorian-era wallpaper in her home which became the basis of the banner.

In a landslide vote at June's Wine & Hors d'oeuvre Club, residents overwhelmingly choose this design and color.

Production begins soon with installation expected in late summer.
